leeslover
Warburton has apparently had some talks with Rangers. I doubt that one will go much further than a glance at the finances though
the_mighty_bosh
Rochdale signed Jim Mcnulty When asked about rumours that he clashed with his captain, manager, coaching staff and the board of directors, he responded: ":censored: the bosses." NewBlue
Bury sign Leon Clarke. We'd do VERY well to finish above them next season, unless they have a total meltdown, which is entirely plausible. Same goes for Scunthorpe.

sjk2008
Bury will be :censored:ed in a few years. He's 30, will no doubt be earning an absolute packet, and has been given a 3yr deal! Mental.
Channel M
The Carrington facilities must hold some sway with players. Bury must be planning to rent out Carrington to United & Citys Champions League opponents to train on and gain revenue that way. We'd all be delighted with Leon Clarke on a 3 year deal. deyres42
How are both clubs able to buy quality like this on crowds as low as they get? You are able to include donations (not loans) from the owners to the club and injections of equity as part of the turnover figure - not sure if there is a limit on that. Unless the rules have changed again in which case I stand corrected...
Frankly Mr Shankly
Rochdale signed Jim Mcnulty Is this football's equivalent of ending up on the boat police for a season? He'll be back by season 3. You watch.

Simoncorneyisgod
Why would anyone sign a player that has played for 3475 clubs on a 3 year deal!?
Frankly Mr Shankly
alright mate isn't he the one who lost a kidney at Brighton Yeah, same one mate. Although I had to shoe-horn a new in-joke to add to the several about his namesake from The Wire.
RobOAFC
Why would anyone sign a player that has played for 3475 clubs on a 3 year deal!? He's likely to have bagged 10-15 by New year & one of the bigger teams will come in and buy him.

They deserve to succeed for backing a club they support.

Bristolatic
Johnson signs Scottish cup winner & long term target Marley Watkins. Possibly wanted him while he was here? Two years ago, Marley Watkins was playing for Bath City. Some folk in those parts were surprised he managed to play higher than the Conference. longtimeblue
Is it only me who thinks we're a bit slow in the market this year? We need 5 or 6, realistically (if no-one else goes). Early doors but I'd hope to see us linked with someone relatively inspiring within the next week or so because we haven't been as yet.
GravityGrave
I'm not worried yet . We have a stronger squad than usual at this time of year and there is minimal speculation about us selling our best players .
