Surely you can't mean accent wise? Do you mean the management speak language?

Yes the management speak. You don't get busy with the fists in a ruck anymore - you manage the game at the breakdown.

 

There's also a subtle Woodward inflection...hard to pin it down but it goes right through all the accents. Jason Robinson (for crying out loud) does it no less than Jonny Wilkinson. Stuart Lancaster does it.

 

And they all say "hugely" a lot, as if they wouldn't be seen dead saying "very".

Yeah I know exactly what you mean- lots of management mumbo-jumbo, not a great deal of proper decision making. The commentators are at it too- but as most of them played under Woodward at some point it's not surprising.

 

It would be like footballers going on about managing the game 10 seconds after the referee's whistle as opposed to not conceding at set-pieces.
