owdumer
As much as the departure of LJ left us sour - indeed after the Evans / throw the game for Dad fiasco - I think time will judge LJ a little more kindly. Time might, Latics fans - not so much.
L1onheartNew
It did say away from home. Yes it did. OK, 1 out of nine then. Makes our home form in that analysis look pretty solid. Every cloud...
Midsblue
I really want us to get a cracking win tomorrow to add to his draws and set Dunn off on his permanent role with style. Few questions though; 1. What's the length of his contract? Assuming it's rolling on one year but hopefully with an opportunity to retain if hes off to a flyer. 2. Corney mentioned were bringing two new players. Admittedly this is probably early days on recruitment but what positions? Another striker? I thought with the defence is compete and midfield too. HarryBosch
Allardyce in at Sunderland. Sounds like they got on very well at Blackburn from the way Dunn has spoken about him... We might get God's Own Loanee Duncan Watmore yet...
Stevie_J
1. What's the length of his contract? Dunno. But I hear it's got a very lucrative draw bonus drafted into it.

Ritchierich
Thought Dunn's appointment was a terrible decision and results so far have done nothing to change that view. He obviously can't be bothered to get fit enough to play and has zero coaching or management experience so what the hell are we doing taking the risk? BP1960
Needs some wins to show SC he hasn't made another blunder.

BP1960
Just like Joe Royle and Jimmy Frizzell and George Hardwick I have a feeling the young managers today are too pally with the players..those you mention never struck me that way. Magister
You don,t need to be Einstein to be a great player, however you do need a certain level of intelligence, emotional intelligence and ability to communicate to be a good manager. Not sure Mr Dunn ticks those boxes!....."Are you worried?" certainly his answer this evening to a genuine question gives us an insight? underdog
Don't think he get the usual 10 games and we will see as we are free falling. Baptism of fire me thinks....oh well it's never a boring season with latics is it
yarddog73
Makes you wonder why the board would threaten and destabilise our whole season by bringing him to the club in the first place, another rookie manager comes with zero guarantees and despite all the talk we've seen little so far to back it up. There may also be a significant element of financial implications about some of our football business too; impacted by the financial problems for the new stand.
