the_mighty_bosh
Seems as though the whole of the midfield is either unavailable (Palmer) or out of form (the rest). How are we going to set up for this? Dig in and realistically expect a point at best, or go gung ho and risk a thrashing?
BP1960
We would have had no chance anyway with the midfield the way the way they played today. Might be a blessing to try something else, maybe 3-5-2 with Dumingham and Holmes-Dennis as wing backs?
Guest nonaenever
By all accounts, Burton utterly annihilated Port Vale away today - we will have to be at 150% in our all round game to try and grab a point at Burton. If a few players don't turn up - it could be a massacre.
kowenicki
Palmer gets a rest, looked jaded today. May as well try something different. No problem anyway as we win the following 3 home games. Easy. ?

BLUMAX
No chance I'm afraid. Funnier things have happened!
opinions4u
Yeah we'll probably somehow win there then lose at home to Chesterfield. Sorry for being a pessimist but I've got a feeling we are not going to get out of this mess. There's a long way to go yet. I think it will go down to the last day. Wardie
There's a long way to go yet. I think it will go down to the last day. I have to agree. Today was a massive let-down and, thankfully, the other results were not disastrous (bar Blackpool). Great to see Holloway score two goals and hopefully more to come from him. I can see another nail biting last day match against Coventry...and probably a near full-house.
NewBlue
I can see another nail biting last day match against Coventry...and probably a near full-house. Highest home league crowd since January 2011 today I think, barring promotional games. Coventry will bring a :censored:-load if they're in for the play-offs still. HarryBosch
We'll lose at Burton in a similar fashion to Sheff Utd then beat Chesterfield in a similar fashion to Blackpool....
losesome
Before Shez came we were all but down 8pts from safety, we are now 1 pt from safety with games in hand.He has given us half a chance that I thought we would never have. If we need to win last game to stay up I will take that.
Monty Burns
We'll lose at Burton in a similar fashion to Sheff Utd. Don't think we will, especially on tv.
Lee Sinnott
I know they're doing well this season, but it's Burton Albion! Surely we will go there and win...
singe
I know they're doing well this season, but it's Burton Albion! Surely we will go there and win... But it's not OAFC from the 90's, nor Burton Albion from the 90's either!

Diego_Sideburns
I've been describing Brewers v Latics as my biggest game of the season, and now Nigel Clough says it's the same for him. http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/Clough-Oldham-Athletic-game-biggest-Burton-Albion/story-28980156-detail/story.html
Diego_Sideburns
Sky's Jeff Stelling is doing a 'Men United' prostate cancer charity walk, arriving at the Pirelli Stadium at 12:50pm on Friday. Someone should have told him the match has been moved to Saturday.
