Guest nonaenever
Like many others - best feeling I`ve had in a long, long time. That was one hell of a battling second half with bodies thrown on the line when needed - utterly gripping stuff. Fleetwood is simply massive and everyone seems to be going. I went into town after the game and there were smiles everywhere - even from bloody reds in the pubs! Latics still have a great affection within the town - if Shezza keeps this up he will be on a par with Joe Royle as an absolute bloody legend !! C'mon Oldham !! NewBlue
Staying up in League 1 compared to your greatest ever manager. No. Was in Oldham for the Burton match and we were the only ones watching the game in a busy pub... Agree about instilling that fight though. Even a few weeks ago Forte probably wouldn't have stuck his shoulder into that 50/50 for the goal today, and that spirit has exemplified the unity at the club. deyres42
I don't care about atmospheres but that felt like one of, if not the, best since Everton.

Different circumstances - but will be almost miraculous if Shez keeps us up from the position we were in when he arrived. The trouble with Oldham is ...... thousands of plastic Mancs who profess to support Utd and City - but who never, in fact, ever attend a game - today was a joyous occasion for true OLDHAM supporters - let the plastic Mancs eat their prawn sandwiches

tringerlatic42
Good post from Nonaenever- It was the 5th time I have been to BP this season and the others were 3 defeats and a draw v Wigan- and the feeling of sheer joy was fantastic to see and be part of. And what a stirring performance after being 2nd best all 1st half. I thought the whole team put in a great effort but especially Coleman, Main, Palmer, Kelly, Wilson, Dummigan all possible contenders for MOM. Walsall were a top draw side and that makes the performance all the better And thoroughly desrerved to see such a climb up the table. No doubt there will be some surprise results along the way but we are a massive step forward/ Come on you Blues
Hands on
What we did was to defend well against a team that seemed to think it was inevitable that they would win. Forte provides the assist and Main a cracking strike and we defended even better because we threatened to score again. I well crafted team victory. Tears of Joy!!!! Keeps the ball in tight spots though and out of position.
yarddog73
Thought Palmer along with Coleman, J Wilson, Kelly and Main all stood out, Gerrard had his best game for a while and Dieng was good again. More than anything it was a solid team effort from 1 to 11.
Andy-latic
That shez interview on player is absolutely class! I love the fact he's so open about how flat we were in the first half, but he got a response in the second. Can you imagine either of the 2 previous clowns admitting we were :censored:.. Instead of reeling off bollocks. Love the man

L1onheartNew
Dunn said we were :censored: loads of times...To be fair, he was right. On the flip side, Shez has proven that one can indeed polish a turd. Edited April 10, 2016 by L1onheartNew
Scapegoat
To be fair, he was right. On the flip side, Shez has proven that one can indeed polish a turd. You can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter. We are a much improved side, but there is still a lot more JS will want to do to make us the team he wants for the long term.
