bozman
Ken Anderson is Holdsworth's partner. He's a former football agent who sounds like a bit of a dodgy character. He was banned from being a company director for 8 years in 2005 for, amongst other things, diverting company funds to his personal accounts. Him and Holdsworth are not getting on well apparently. He's saying the new manager has been chosen and will be announced this week whilst Holdsworth is saying no decision has been made yet and one isn't imminent. Already looking for new investment and openly admitting the budget will probably have to be scaled back as season ticket sales look unlikely to meet their forecast. As you say, it's likely to end in tears.
LaticsPete
Bolton fans appear to be unenthusiastic about most of the possible candidates. Coming to terms that the club isn't an attractive proposition. Maybe Cotterrill as preferred if anyone? http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/forum/3-terrace-talk/

Diego_Sideburns
Marc Iles @MarcIles May 5 Should have a better idea of next #bwfc manager after Fulham game. Only one man met by both owners so far - but a few others possible.

HarryBosch
This one does worry me. While on the one hand you'd hope he'd steer well clear on the basis he'll be unlikely to last longer than a few months he might think that if he does well in those few months, managing a Championship side he will then be seen as a Championship manager and then get another Championship job. Or a better League One job than us. If he does poorly nobody will think any less of him as he was on a hiding to nothing. Also, he'll probably get very good money and so might we.... Fuuuck...... HarryBosch
In fact - why don't we demand as much compensation as possible for him. (Cellino is probably daft enough to pay it). Let him pick our signings. Leave Shirtliff in charge. Welcome Shez back about October time.....?

Twisbrogan
...either that, or equally go for the nostalgic option and get Neil Redfearn in... Always an odd call as we clearly view Redfearn much more favourably than he would view us. If it's nostalgic fun we want it'd be better to interview him for the job but then appoint Mike Milligan at the last minute.

longtimeblue
That's a massive shift in price. As others have said, as much of a joke Leeds are, that's a big club and the chance may not come around again. I wouldn't begrudge him fancying a go it.

bozman
Leeds fan at work, whilst acknowledging Sheridan's popularity from his playing days, just posed the question "What has he achieved as a manager, that makes him a better option than Evans? " It's a fair question. Their fans are sick of getting a new manager every 3 months and most want Evans to stay. For what it's worth, he reckons Cellino won't even have heard of Sheridan and their next manager will be Italian. From Sheridan's point of view, the attraction of a big club in the Championship where he is already hugely popular with the fans is obvious. However, he does have to set that against the fact that, realistically, he will likely be out of work again and looking for another job well before Christmas. I don't see Shez reacting too well to being phoned up by Cellino to tell him who to pick and what formation he has to play.
