Did Baxter score many spectacular goals? Lee Richardson must win that one surely...

Yes he scored quite a few but you are correct. Lee Richardson scored a good number and I totally forgot about him

He only ever scored one didn't he?

I seem to remember a few from my youth but also a few finished from rebounds because of the power.

Tbh I don't remember Eyres scoring that many? Holden surely scored more.

Is it just goals scored from free kicks because all 3 had unbelievable delivery as did Liddell and Adams.

Surely the fastest defender was also the fastest striker. Warhurst, although did someone not say Marshall was quicker which would still apply to both.

If someone could head a ball harder than Fryatt I have yet to see him.

Warhurst never played upfront for us.

I must remember to ask Royle one day how he never thought of that...

Can you add best first touch into that list. A rather valuable yet at times often overlooked skill in football.

Simon Stainrod, Ron Futcher,Paul Warhurst, Bobby Johnstone,John Hurst to name but a few.
