Another couple for Duffus.  Was never given a chance for us.

There were very mixed opinions of this fella when he was here under several managers none of whom seemed to rate him.

Let's hope he keeps scoring.

AL getting a bag of washers for a player who struggled in a pub league lately and who never ever scored a competitive goal for us is a good deal. Nevermind 40% sell-on clause and an undisclosed fee, even if the sell-on clause ends up being worthless.

Barely played half a dozen games for us.  Hard to believe he's worse than the current batch.  I seem to recall he had a significant illness when with us as well.

True, true, true.

Doesn't make it a bad decision to let him go though.

And Rooney scored. And Dieng. And obvs Doyle 😭😭😭😭

Bradford would be daft to not recall Doyle in January if it’s an option. Even if he fails to score the goals for them when recalled at least he won’t be doing it for Swindon who could cost Bradford a promotion spot come May. They’d be foolish to allow him to help get Swindon promoted.

I would imagine that or they'd want Swindon or someone else to pay a decent wedge for him.

Like Doncaster did with us and Main? Their fans’ fume about that was hilarious 😆

Or if he isnt going to play for Bradford, keep him playing at Swindon and taking points off those around them

Curtis did a decent job for us, at a time we were struggling and you'd have to admit, even with his shortcomings, he was head and shoulders better than what we have now

Not really ‘admit’. That sounds like I’d begrudge saying it. I thought he was excellent.

Oh dear 😫

Soon it'll be Tarky to Citeh for £50m 😪

Who the fu*k keeps on selling the family silver?

Tarky wouldn't be a £50m England international if he'd stayed with us.

JCH wasn't worth £2m after he'd scored 7 in 45 for us.

It's natural for good young players to move on early in their careers.

You only get the really big money if you're the last stage in the development process, and you're not going to be that in League Two (or League One).

I don't doubt a word you're saying but it hurts that our club is falling apart without a pot to piss in and the beneficiaries of our legacy are thriving on the proceeds

True but the % sell on we would have got because Tarky was sold by Burnley for £50 million would be not too far removed from what we got for selling Edmundson.

It all keeps the club going.

I'd think by looking through the books it would be possible to work our what Corney sold the Tarky well on fee for.

We wouldnt get a sell on clause with Burnley seeing as though we didnt sell him to Burnley......

I think most sell on clauses now are set up so that we take a percentage of whatever future money the buying club gets for the player. So in that scenario we'd get 20% (or whatever our sell on clause was) of what Brentford got from Burnley which would be a decent chunk of change.

So numbers dependent could have been looking at a couple of million on top of what we would have got from Brentford selling to Burnley. But alas.

It was a bloody sham offloading the lad to Brentford for that paltry sum, they knew he was worth far more, wonder if they have a cut if Burnley sell him?

Now that would be kind of ironic
