Been for a walk and eaten soup (not as a sit down picnic) - not an offence in itself but did it with 4 other people

Why isn’t hugging teammates after they score an offence ....there is a load of rubbish talked about social distancing and the “ got you” culture is pathetic

Is that a serious question?

I’m no lover of some of the draconian measures but there is a clear distinction here.

Agreed, 5 people walking in the countryside not coming into contact. The other 5 grown men hugging one another.

Believe me you are preaching to the converted - just as the papers are saying “he should have stayed local” (which Dovestones is)

apart from the fact that “local” is guidance and not law - something the police and the media seem to have difficulty distinguishing between.

my point was (apart from telling the user who asked what Scholes had done) was in law it’s the 4 other people that make it an issue

then again, it’s not like GMP have 80,000 unrecorded crimes to find is it?

Footballers eh?

They train together all week playing a contact sport.

They share a coach travelling to away games.

They share a dressing room before, during and after every game.

They play a game which has them in close contact with twenty one other individuals and not a single one of them wearing a face covering.

They get tested for COVID twice a week.

And then they go and hug each other when a goal is scored...

Footballers eh - what are they like?
