Ironic choice of club as he spent lots of time clutching at it whilst he was with us.

Fantastic news for one of our old boys   David Beharall • 2nd Managing Director at Digital Agency - CandidSky | Ex-footballer at Newcas

Currently a very angry message board somewhere in France bemoaning the signing of shite #EnglishLads.

He was a striker....

He might have got more games if it wasn't for the time he was made to train with the lags.

Matt Smith was on Fighting Talk this morning. Very articulate, clearly putting himself up for a future media career.

Didn't he do a degree at Manchester Uni, along with Jack Whitehall (or have i dreamt that one up)?

He definitely did a degree, whether it was with Jack Whitehall I haven't a clue.

Yep

Whitehall is a reasonable footballer apparently and they played up front together for the university team

Burton win again and according to the BBC:

"A first half devoid of any real chances burst into life in the last minute of normal time when Tom Hamer's long throw caused havoc in the home defence."

Sky chappie at the ground said it was the fourth or fifth attempt though.

Still it shows it can be a potent weapon when players attack the ball.

We only have one, Piergianni.

The Burton Albion transformation since the arrival of JFH & Dino has been phenomenal.

They took over on New Years Day and after their 1st game in charge, a 1 v 5 home defeat by Oxford, they were 7 points adrift and had played at least two games more than the teams above and just about nailed on for relegation, the stats were:

P22    W2   D7  L13  GD  -22  PTS  13

The stats following that game equate to Championship form:

P18    W12  D2  L4   GD  +10  PTS  38

They are now on 51 points and as good as safe....talk about new manager bounce!!
