What the article actually quotes Wellens as saying is:"when you start coaching players, they can find you out a little bit". Wellens is referring to the start of his coaching, at Macclesfield and Salford. Your comment in bold implies that he's referring to his time at Boundary Park, and that the Oldham players found him out. Now, that may or may not have been the case last season, but it's not what Wellens is referring to. Hence, I suspect, deyres42's comment.
