I'm having to make sacrifices and prioritise.

Across Sept, Oct & Nov, we've got the following;

Sat 29th Sept, Swindon (a)

Sat 13th Oct, Notts C (a)

Sat 27th Oct, Northampton (a)

Sat 3rd Nov, Stevenage (a)

Which ones can you make?

Notts Co might be called off due to international weekend

Good point. Thank you. I’m away for Swindon, Northampton & Stevenage are consecutive weeks - so it’s one or the other. I’m going for Stevenage.

Confession to make - 2 of the 4 voting for Stevenage are me and @jorvik_latic. We just wanted to spend time with you ?.

More than likely two more as well. Pig of a journey from Brizzle, but life is full of trials. Swindon makes up for it, though; 45 minutes down the M4.

Swindon, Northants and Stevenage for me... Never been to Stevenage before... Anyone know what it's like?

Got stuck in Stevenage overnight in 1979 after seeing led Zeppelin at Knebworth, after our coach driver said he would leave if we weren’t back on the coach at midnight.

Who would leave led Zeppelin early just to catch a coach home?

not us, still one of the best gigs I went to.

anyway, all I remember of Stevenage is walking to the station and sleeping on the grass outside it

Now there is a tie for the Southern contingent.

Dave Roberts’ (cockney Dave) local game. It’ll confuse the sh1t out of him though, because as the leader of the OASIS breakfast club - the first train out of London to whatever backwater we’re travelling to - he’s normally up & out his door at 6am. He’s gonna be twiddling his thumbs until the pubs open.

He'll be reet.

Up and out usual time. Into town.  Couple of laps on the circle line.  Back out to his nearest Weatherspoons in time to greet the first Latics fans that arrive on the scene..

It'll seem like a normal away day.
