If you're self-excluded, you can still see the odds. Bit of both William hill excluded me for winning big and losing equally as big.. some I self excluded some I tried to match Bet until my addiction took over that smart idea. For the record I don’t bet anymore !

ShireBlue
He must be mad. Wonder if it’ll be a head coach role as opposed to manager.

NewBlue
If it’s Scholes at least we’ll now be left with only Ibby and his Dowie shouts next time we get a new manager

Nohairdontcare
I wasn’t expecting this - to put it mildly. Now what odds that he’ll last more than six months?
UpTheLatics
Over 700 appearances for a dominant Manchester Utd; immense ability; likeable; local. If it goes tits up, then so be it. We've tried everything else over the years. I really cannot see, considering the obvious dearth of alternatives, why anybody would criticise Scholes being appointed. That said, he has to work with that prat running the club.
BP1960
Rumoured Scholes would want to bring in young striker Mason Greenwood from Manchester United. Only 17yo but far too good for this division I guess though. Edited January 19, 2019 by BP1960

Agree with all of this apart from the labelling of Abdallah as a prat... Will probably end up being a fair assessment but he deserves a bit longer. Aye, but it's hardly a coup in some respects considering Scholes has lobbed in enough applications. As I say, let's see what happens. He may convince me. staffordlatic
Let's hope so. I know we're in a different era now but Joe Royle nearly took us down first season - Derby went down on goal difference if I remember. So sometimes having the time makes all the difference. However, I. do realise this will ba AL's 4th appointment in 12 months
