This is a turnaround, four people to do what was a job for one before. I think the penny may have dropped that they may have serious problems with missing fans next season (whenever that is).

One for each ST holder?

I have applied for one of these. The closing date is next Friday, I think. I'm expecting a big fat custard pie to the face, but I thought it was well worth a go...

Being objective about it, there appears to be significant savings demonstrated

A good few of the 267 / 181 will be volunteers such as turnstile operators and programme sellers etc you would think

They get paid, don't they? The closing date for the SLO jobs that were advertised is this Friday, so that should be 4 more filled...

The job titles and functions on the lists provided by singe and underdog don't look unreasonable though to be fair do they

Of course the costs are dependant on £ per hour and hours worked but none those job titles look as they would / should attract mega £s

Easy for us sitting on the outside to say we would cut costs if we moved in to buy the club but those personnel numbers don't look excessive to me

Saying that I suspect there is likely to be a good few £ in what we would class as 'non essential' spend but those savings will be dwarfed by the wages we pay some players who would struggle to get a regular game with a local non league outfit

Personally, I would advise him to 'retire' a couple of his inner circle to ensure the club reduces its 'blunders' and attract a few hundred supporters back

Staring me in the face as a WIN WIN

I'd add stewards to th list that may have been cut.

We did well the first season in L2, but crowds have dropped significantly since then.

The whole reason I started this thread was the claim that staffing was being dranatically reviewed due to wastage by Corney and by implication costs were excessive.

The other reason was to show that in effect each job had simply been replaced, and that in itself attracts some costs, and it was more likely to find the mole than serious staff performance issues. Given where we are now, and were, been a costly and time consuming excercise, but ulimately fruitless.

Then you have to factor in the cost of the employment tribunals too. I recall about 6.

I presume Assistant Coach John Dreyer  and Goalkeeping Coach Ali Uzunhasanoglu have also left the club as they are no longer on the website's Contact Us page?

Yeh. The club statement read he’d gone ‘together with his team’.

Any idea's on who the sacked staff member might be?

😂😂

You’ve got to love it.

Staff and AL-

A friend can help, if you’re short.

Really?

Yeah, he said he’ll loan you the money.

Great. Tell him I’ll take his offer.

Will do. He’d also like to discuss further investment over dinner.

Ok, great. I’ll get Barry to cook.

Later AL meets the mystery backer in the 02 suite.

Will you thank Barry, that food was er - different.

No problem. How would you like to invest.

I’d like to make you an offer for the club.

Ok. I want £10 million.

That’s ridiculous.

Your face is ridiculous, now fuck off.

What about my loan?

You’ll get it, after paid Maouche wages. Oh and tell your mate- they’re sacked.

What for!?

Barry will decide.
