Confirmed

13. Zeus de la Paz (2019) - happy to keep, looked decent in the few chances he had.

3. Andy Taylor (2019) - the contract situation didn't help, but he's been a disappointment.  Release.

4. George Edmundson (2020) - I'd be amazed if he's still here come August.

15. Sonhy Sefil (2020) - not a clue.

20. Jamie Stott (2020 plus option) - keep, could soften the blow of Edmundson leaving given a run of games.

23. Rob Hunt (2020) - all things being equal, I'd keep him.  I wouldn't be too disappointed if he goes though and I think he probably will leave.

26. Peter Clarke (2019) - would definitely keep, but sounds as though he won't be here.

33. Jay Sheridan (2019) - not a clue.

34. Tom Hamer (2020) - keep.  He might be sold in the summer but maybe another year of development would be best for him.

49. Javid Swaby-Neavin (signed contract, length not announced)

6. Dan Gardner (2019) - I think Maouche, Missilou and to a lesser extent Sylla showed that we didn't really miss him.  If we could offer him a month-to-month deal to see how he is after the injury would be a good gesture.

7. Giles Coke (2020) - can we get rid of him early?

8. Jose Baxter (2019 plus option) - keep, although for his sake I'd like him to be playing regular football next season, wherever he is.

17. Christopher Missilou (2019) - definitely keep, I'm assuming that with him being a Marco signing he'd be offered a deal.  He'd be a decent League One player imo.

22. Johan Branger-Engone (2019) - all things being equal I'd release him, but there's a fair chance that he'll be here next season.  Funny how with him and Hunt I'd be happy either way if they stayed or went, but one looks certain to stay and the other certain to go.

25. Chinedu Uche (2019) - not a clue.

27. Gevaro Nepomuceno (2019) - definitely keep (see Missilou).

28. Mohamed Maouche (2019 plus option) - keep but if rumours are true about his wages then we should only keep on reduced terms.

42. Mohamad Sylla (2020) - keep.  Going on the Mansfield and Exeter games I could see him being a very useful player next season.  He's settled down and looks decent.

46. Harry Robinson (signed contract, length not announced)

10. Chris O'Grady (2019) - release.  We need a type of player like him, only better.

11. Urko Vera (2019) - release.

14. Jonathan Benteke (2019) - he's had enough time and opportunities to impress, and hasn't.  Release.

We used to complain about players not being given long contracts. There's a few there I'm wishing were on shorter deals.

I think that Bunn did OK and I think he was harshly treated overall, but giving Coke a 2 year deal is a blunder I can't defend.

Coke will depart via mutual consent.

Edmondson will join Preston and loaned out to Fleetwood.

Nepo will go, rest of the French lads will stay.

Guesswork, or ITK?

I'd be a bit disappointed at Nepo going. I think he's decent for this level, and can cover a couple of positions adequately.

Other than Sefil, who's done nothing to suggest he should be here, I'd not be too upset at the #frenchlads staying. Maouche I'd baulk at just based on wages, but he's not the worst player we've had in midfield.

Here’s my (soon to be proven wrong) retained list:

13. Zeus de la Paz (2019) as back up

4. George Edmundson (2020)

15. Sonhy Sefil (2020)- but try to get rid!

20. Jamie Stott (2020 plus option)

23. Rob Hunt (2020)- but will be off

26. Peter Clarke (2019)

34. Tom Hamer (2020)

49. Javid Swaby-Neavin (signed contract, length not announced)

6. Dan Gardner (2019)- if fit

7. Giles Coke (2020)- hopefully leaves

17. Christopher Missilou (2019)

22. Johan Branger-Engone (2019)

25. Chinedu Uche (2019)

27. Gevaro Nepomuceno (2019)

28. Mohamed Maouche (2019 plus option)- but not if he’s on 4K a week

42. Mohamad Sylla (2020)

46. Harry Robinson (signed contract, length not announced)

Branger-Engone adapted pretty well 2nd half of season.

Baxter has ability but not sure where he fits in. No one sees him as fit enough to play centre mid & he’s too slow up front.

He’d be miles better with quick players around him.

I am not privy to ogradys contract.however he has made a lot of appearances.there might be a clause if he makes a set number of appearances it triggers a renewed contract, remember the situation with zander diamond.heaven forbid.

Can’t see Wigan sending him out on loan again he will be in their squad  next season the lad is ready to step up IMO the best loan signing we have ever had

Lowe very good mates with Paul Cook can’t seem him going into the championship yet. Would be a sensible step up for his development.

Not sure he’s ready to jump to the championship.

Pre season at Wigan for them to take a look at him and then a loan move till Jan and see what happens.

Robinson's deal is one year with a further year's option, per https://www.irishfa.com/news/2019/may/northern-ireland-u19-player-harry-robinson-signs-professional-contract-with-oldham-athletic - Swaby-Neavin probably got the same deal.

Pathetic we have to find out via other means.

Ive criticised the past media teams but the current defies belief.
