October 19th - sacked after a 5-1 home defeat by Macclesfield Town and getting the sporting director in a head lock in the changing room after the game. Then rejoins Right Said Fred for their farewell tour of East Anglia.

Certainly something Deeply Dippy going on.

Recall an old Rotherham United song from the 1970s - our old striker Rodger Wylde was mentioned as the clown - was at Wednesday at the time

Borrowed the song and changed the words - hope you like it:

There is a circus in the town, in the town

Abdallah Lemsagam is the clown, is the clown

And Mo Lem-sa-gam, Barry Owen too

They're the monkeys in the zoo, in the zoo, in the zoo.....

repeat and fade

I prefer the Ipswich version:

There's a circus in the town, in the town,

Nigel Worthington's a clown, is a clown,

And Delia Smith, well, she's a fucking slag,

Norwich City's going down, going down

We had a version of that at my university college (I know, I know) which would adapt well:

Boundary Park is falling down, falling down

Barry Owen is a clown, is a clown

And Lemsgam is JUST A FUCKING CUNT

Boundary Park is falling down, falling down

That's the first good song suggestion i've ever seen on here.

He left Southport after five months because it was too far away from his family.

Does he still live Stevenage way?  If so...

Five months would be a good stint for a Latics manager though

You'd probably have to allow 90 minutes to get to Southport from Oldham. It takes an age to get to by train too.
