I'm struggling to see how this all doesn't end with us going into Administration anyway whoever pushes the button.

Not saying that someone won't buy us its more than likely that they will, but AL won't sell to the FLG and any other parties involved will bide their time waiting for AL to drop the price low enough knowing that he owns an asset that loses money and the pressure is just going to build on him and the club financially.

Its one big game of brinkmanship at the moment.

After the last 20 years of absolute shite and now the complete 🤡🤡’s we have running the show I don’t really care and would take the chance of admin in a heartbeat. This club in its present format needs a complete new start and total overall from top to bottom!!

Stupid to desire administration. Just starting to assemble a competitive team with the new signings and better selection.
Why the hell would anyone want to get a points deduction and potentially lose the players we want to keep as they would the first to leave and/or seek freedom from contracts.

Admin would mean a 12 point reduction, we could cover this with the current side easily. It would mean getting rid of Mo, AL and Barry before season tickets go on sale for next season.

Get it done and dusted tomorrow morning for me.

Admin is coming as AL won't play ball with anyone. It is a matter of when now he has totally pissed off the landlords. Better now than in the summer as they will sell all the players remaining to cover debts etc.

Such an emotive subject and it's difficult to know which way to jump. We want rid of AL and his cronies, there's no doubt, but at what cost?

Taking the points deduction shoves us to the brink of the National League and, should we go down, we'd be a less attractive proposition for a prospective buyer.

On the other hand, with ALMOBO gone, we might regain some stability, but that hinges on a new owner actually knowing what he's doing and having a PLAN (shades of @lookersstandandy there!).

So many yes and no answers to this, but I've gone for 'no' purely and simply because we can't predict if we could be even worse off. Just keep the pressure on AL until he can't survive any longer and has to sell.

In the meantime, keep our League status and just hope to God that a new owner with a dollop of common sense comes in.

Yeah... get it all “done and dusted” in a morning.  Ffs.  Some stupid things said on here and this is right up there.

admin, and it’s ramifications, would roll for months and possibly years should players walk and relegation result.

Would be fairly straightforward wouldn't it, just like Brexit?  Oh wait....

Ridiculous to even contemplate Admin.

It would 100% mean the liquidation of the club as we have fuck all assets.

We then just start again do we without a ground or a pot piss in. FFS some people needed to think a bit more about the ramifications.

No one is suggesting admin would be quick or easy however it would rid of us of AL Mo and BO quickly. The players would remain and the club still function. The debts are mainly to blitz and he clearly doesn't want to fold the club. Get it handed in on Monday and work towards getting the club back to where it belongs, 17th in league 1. We won't go down even minus 12 points. Fans will rally round. The EFL won't allow another club to go bust.

OAFC will die for certain unless the owners and landlords can sort out their differences and the current paralysis will remain and ultimately condemn the club to liquidation.

The club are unable to move forward effectively as the owner's funding (whatever it is) is by way of Directors Loans and not investment and so I assume the club debts will continue mounting. The Trust has been unable to access to the full accounts for previous years so that they cannot provide any assurance to the club on their accuracy, meanwhile noises coming out of the club are that they are "debt free/95% debt free***" (insert any other quote here).

Fans have no idea just how chronic our financial position is and cannot find any reliable source of evidence.

I would take administration now - it is needed just to clear up the situation and come to some accurate position of what exactly the club owes. The administrator will then take ownership of the club (I am led to believe) and will act in the best interests of the club in paying off debts to creditors and arrive at a position where the club can operate from with a plan of repayment to all associated parties.

For fucks sake, just do it - there will NEVER be peace at the club until someone operates in its BEST INTERESTS, cannot see either the current or previous owners doing that

The club would not still function if bills are not being paid

The administrator would be obliged to go straight to liquidation if they could not operate appropriately
