Fight for change from within is what I would advocate.

I understand that point of view, but I just struggle to see how you fight from within?

Don't people get thrown out, or at the very least spoken to by stewards, for displaying banners against the ownership?

I take your point and for sure it's for the individual to decide.

No moral high ground from me, for me it's simple, no cash into the club then the club suffers.

Not necessarily yourself  Lags but I have personally seen people abuse others choosing to stay away at the moment despite some of them being more proactive than most to highlight the issues with Abdallah and Co.

Whilst Barry Owen and the rest of the cranks still call the shots, regardless of what cash drops into the tills I cannot see any improvement in the fortunes of OAFC.

One thing you can be sure of, AL will eventually leave. Hopefully leave whilst we still have a club.

Hopefully leave after lots of lessons learnt and changing habits made. The current turn around in player recruitment again hopefully is a good sign.

Protest in the stadium, peacefully and in the right manner will show the owners your feelings whilst not starving that much needed cash. I repeat that's down to each individual.

Not a chance this would change anything, I'd love to hear how you think it will? If he hasn't seemed bothered about a reduction of roughly 1,000 fans he wouldn't bat an eye lid peaceful protest. Wasn't Barry Owen trying to get people ejected just a few days ago?

But the club suffers when he is in control of that cash. He just wastes it.
We've gone massively backwards, from an already lousy position.

Agreed on some of the dross they've brought in and unbelievably so with his present to the fans, Queensy Menig!!

I bet they're bothered about the loss of fans/cash.

Week after week fans displeasure at AL, he'd leave.

Then I'd be first in the queue to tell Barry he's in the wrong. So long as it was protest in the correct manner.

I've no idea what this is about, likewise I've no idea what the lad said or did. Have you?

It looks peaceful enough to me. But quite aggressive enough for Natalie to intervene with Barry confronting the person. Why are they there? If it was normal the steward would simply have a word or ultimately call for backup and escort them out. This was as a consequence of displaying the Adballah Out Banner.

Then if all it was, was some random with an AL out banner, then I'll sit next to the guy next home game and back his corner.

Aaaannnnnd Harry?

Fuck me Lags. If you bury your head any deeper in the sand you'll be wearing a hat with corks coming out of the brim lad.

Why?

So.…. are you telling me Barry turns round and points out some random bloke sitting there watching the game and tells a steward to throw him out? seriously??

I can believe some stuff about Barry, but not that.

Do people actually read the whole thread posts? Do I not say if this bloke's only crime was to unfurl an AL out banner, I'd be sat with him next home match backing his right and corner.

OWTB blinkered since, well since I last posted!!

Barry  literally directs the stewards to dissenters.

l'm calling bullshit on chronology here, as on exhibit 1 if Bazza is breifing the steward then how can play be taking place in the background then in exhibit 2 the steward is following Bazza's orders but there are still pitch fork, owl and camera types on the pitch in the background?
