Weren't there talk of us becoming a feeder club for City the other year?

If there was, we probably fucked them off after they gave us Ellis Plumber.

Retired at 25 having made as many league starts as he had starts for England youth teams. 10 a piece.

The problem with the massive Premier League academies in a nutshell.

These players should be with lower league teams, playing and then moving up the pyramid, with their transfers fees funding the smaller clubs.

Having a rolling cast of loanees who don't give a toss about the result of the match doesn't help anyone long term.

Retired due to injury wasn't it?

Tell that to Surridge and Lang following the victory down in SW6...

Well said. All loanees cannot be tarred with he same brush. Lang, Surridge, Ripley, Smith and many more are testament to this.

Just from those you listed is it a coincidence that they arnt from the ‘top clubs’ ? Guess they still have something to prove and don’t have the egos that come with a top club player.

Agree they had great attitude, but wouldn't call them representative of the majority.

And certainly not representative of the short term loans we've had from the top clubs, which is what we'd end up with under a feeder club setup.

If the bloke has some sort of epiphany and decides to run the club properly I'd switch to being onside

well lets face it stranger things have happened.

Its positive news if it has been. Was it not about £600K?

Would this not mean that that the "owner" acknowledges that the 2016 lease is true and not the peppercorn rent one they have been threatening all this legal stuff over?
