I never got a reply. And the farce goes on. And it will continue to be so until the ground, stands, name and complete infrastructure are owned by the same person or group. There is no incentive for anyone to buy a season ticket for lots of reasons, but the club look to be hell bent on making it as difficult as possible for any of us to continue our love and affection for the club. The present running of the club is at an all time low, and is scandalous. I also wrote to her - a proper letter - via Royal Mail but alas no reply!! I have had a reply to e-mails! It may well be that she's not too good with pen and ink unlike us Coffin Dodgers! But it needs to be resolved. I don't care who is wrong, just get it sorted! Ritchierich
I've just re-read the JR stand updates and articles and actually feel pretty angry that the morons who have stolen our club from us have still chosen not to fix this mess So thank you Blitz, Corney, Gazal, Lamsagam and Brother, Owen..... and, frankly, the Trust and Natalie who don't appear to have been able to help fix things or at least tell the truth about the actual situation They treat us with utter contempt and presumably only care now about how much money they can each recover from the mess THEY have created
Stainrod
Same here, I am waiting for the nod to renew in the JR stand. it is way beyond incompetence that the shiny new stand hasn’t been fixed and we will be left to choose between the main stand (which is a magnificent old fashioned football stand, but surely not ‘safer’) and not going - can’t stand the drumming in the RRE so not really an alternative. Its obviously a stand off with posturing on both sides each feeling aggrieved enough to dig their heels in but it’s so childish. unless the reality is that AL just doesn’t want to pay rent if it can be helped, particularly under the current circumstances, in which case he is just a disreputable businessman. We just don’t know the facts I suppose and nobody wants to tell us.

We just don’t know the facts I suppose and nobody wants to tell us. We don't need to know all the details here we all know like you say its just 2 men posturing and being childish. The only consolation I can take from this is that both Lemsagam and Blitz deserve each other. Blitz could have got out years ago had he made the club a more attractive proposition he didn't so anyone with any sense gave us a wide birth. So he was left with a clown who himself should have know all about what he was getting into. Barry well hes just a grubby little opportunist he defended both Blitz and Lemsagam when it suited him. Natalie well I can't tell if she is any good or is being made to look good by the fuckwits shes surrounded with either way if were her I wouldn't be sending fans responses to emails Id be sending my CV out to companies and recruiters with the instruction get me out the twat factory. oafc1955
Everybody knows it’s due to safety concerns. What the fans want to know is who is responsible for the rectifications, whether it be the FLG, OAFC, or a combination of the two matters not, what does matter is after all this time why the hell we are still in this ridiculous situation!! Surely it has to be financially beneficial for both parties to have it up and running and earning money on match days!! The FLG made an offer that they were willing to sit round the table with AL & Co and sort it out which I believe was declined and is probably still the case. ***********ABDALLAH OUT***********

Go through the turn-style onto the concourse. Walk through the concourse to the openings to the seats. Go to seat. Possibly visit bar or toilets when inside. Leave the same way. Will the seats break when yo sit on them? Is the concrete crumbling, causing trip hazards? Are the lights working? None of these of course, we are told it's security cameras. Who needs security cameras, they weren't around years ago when over 20000 attended BP without a problem. 7 hours ago, Stainrod said: Same here, I am waiting for the nod to renew in the JR stand. it is way beyond incompetence that the shiny new stand hasn’t been fixed and we will be left to choose between the main stand (which is a magnificent old fashioned football stand, but surely not ‘safer’) and not going - can’t stand the drumming in the RRE so not really an alternative. And I work as a health and safety advisor (a real one not a self appointed Barry one) but yes - the 100 plus year place buckets at the entrance when it rains stand is much safer edit - although in relation to cameras there are lots of things that weren’t around in the past that need adhering to now or else ships would still be going to sea with inadequate life boat provision
BP1960
Why was the stand allowed to open, surely it had to pass all H&S tests first?

My understanding is that the issue is connected to possible passage between the fans' bar (ie the OEC) and the stand. The club doesn't want fans to be able to enter the stand via the OEC. But because the club can't control who enters the fans' bar and the fans' bar may need to use the safety of the pitch in an emergency the access points to the stand may need to remain open. The possible movement of fans between a fans' bar in the OEC and the stand became problematic when a separate company opened up the fans' bar. When the club was using the executive suites available the passage of fans between the OEC and the stand wasn't an issue. Because the club controlled who entered the executive area. Am I right in thinking that the club started to crack down on the issue after the kitman was chucked out of the stand?

Thanks for this Ben, but I would have thought that between the OEC owners and the club it would be easy to sort out some sort of security on a match day basis, just a bit of talking between both parties, problem solved.
