Looking at the picture of the crowd at Brighton Chelsea,  fans were every 4th seat in each row positioned in the gap of the row above and below.  So the same number of fans as you say LaticMark.  Complicated at the end of the row!

Just thinking how you get past if you need to.  Turn back to back?

Passing each other in an outside space is very low risk.

From Trust Oldham:

19th August 2020 - Complaints regarding the closure of the Joe Royle Stand:

CLUB RESPONSE:  "The Club recognises the disappointment of fans, is striving to resolve this situation and expects to issue a detailed statement by the end of next week."

We're still waiting for the club's response - or do we give them another day as it's a bank holiday?

Fans positioned every 4th seat in a row was the norm at BP last season, so we conform anyway.😉

Their was only 2500 at the Amex which has a capacity of circa 30000. The concourses and area around the stadium is quite vast certainly alot bigger than what is in the main stand I think the capacity of BP will be significantly lower than 1/4 full when you factor everything in. You certainly can't have any social distancing in the upper tier concourse of the main stand.

That estimate may not be far off LaticMark.  I’m sure they have to work on 1.5 m spacing though. I can’t see that being only one seat.  People from the same family could sit together.  So if logistics can work that out it may help. Clearly you can’t sit next to walkways, and that will be one maybe two vertical rows lost.

At the trial Brighton vs Chelsea friendly I don't think people from the same family etc were allowed to sit together.

Shambles off the pitch but weirdly promising on it 😏

Shambles rumbles on!

The above information on season tickets is for the Main Stand and Jimmy Frizzell Stand and not the Joe Royle Stand at this moment in time, where season tickets holders seats will remain on file.

I see Wigan’s prospective new owners think that the asking price of £3m for the whole DW stadium is too much... they are prepared to play at Leigh Sports Village.

They're skint then, and buttering the fans up for a move. It cost nearly £30m to build.
You could get 3,000 capacity ground of now defunct Thurrock (and former FA Cup opponents) for that.

No, but it shows how ridiculous the claim of too expensive is.
