Good post.

It’s amazing how much easier is it to ignore the off field stuff when you’ve got the makings of a good side with a few goals in them. 😉

I am always delighted when Latics win no matter if i am there or not.

I am always prepared to give credit where it is due and I feel that this side has some ability though looks very lacking in depth.

It will take me a lot longer to get back to Boundary Park, maybe a season of the owners/leaders not making a complete drama out of everything, stopping sacking everyone and actually trying to think about fans requirements or trying to allay grave concerns about how we are being run.

In other words- if you don't agree with the mob you're going to get lynched.

Erm no....but if you are genuinely offended by people taking the knee for a few seconds then Id suggest you are the one with the problem. Can't see why you would be bothered by this.

So you are suggesting I'm a racist then?

I'll tell you with an absolute certainty. I'm less of a racist than John Terry.

Well I haven't actually said that but if thats the case you shouldn't be bothered by should you?

I'm bothered by it because BLM is a marxist socialist movement that I don't give a shit about and has nothing to do with Latics.

The Oldham Athletic Community Trust is a fantastic organisation that works with all local communities that bridges people together through sport.  I'd rather have the people involved with that on the pitch before kick off so we can show our support to them instead.

Let them do what they feel they want to do....nobody objects to them crossing themselves or saluting allah or wearing slogans or promoting town councils..or celebrating gay pride or wearing poppies or encouraging gambling or drinking or whatever

allowing and embracing expression is what protects us and allows arguments like the above

Agreed... and let people voice their opinion on it without be effectively called a racist by the likes of comrade Glossop.

That's exactly my opinion but like GlossipLatics has already proven, unless you go along with what everybody else thinks, you are part of the problem 🙄

"Yeah you should be tolerent of my ill informed intolerant views Im the victim here"

If you are genuinely bothered by a peaceful anti racist gesture then yes you are part of the problem their is no other reason to be bothered by it.

We seem to going round in circles here.  I've already given my reason. And it doesn't make me part of the problem 👍

I do believe it is the case with a lot of people.  For example do the players have a choice if they take to the knee or not? And do they understand what BLM stand for?

Having an opinion doesn't make you right.

The bizarre claim that it is a marxist socialist agenda and that BLM are trying to dismantle capitalism merely prove how ill informed the said poster is and are also exactly why campaigns like this exist.

Good to see Lags choosing to be a cock on facebook rather than on here.

I just can't take a burberry clad hooligan serious 😂😂

This cock was right though, oddly more agreed than didn't. Different media different reception

With BLM there is a general movement protesting against racial inequality and injustice.  There is also a specific organisation of the same name with political aims.

I would have thought it was blatantly obvious which one of those the players taking a knee was in solidarity with.

Mmmmmm now there's some milage in that train of thought.

I do understand where you're coming from sometimes things can go on to long and there are plenty more injustices in the world to champion. Let it run its course, there is some merit for it yet.
