It will all end in tiers.

Bilbao - seemed steady, made one very good save, didn’t have chance with goal.  Not much else to do.  Ntambwe - another steady debut, looks like he enjoys defending which is refreshing. See ho

Many memories of Latics games v Bolton (mainly at home to be fair) but been watching Latics at Burnden since 1972, for latics fans of my age, these are our real enemies - always a right rough set of b

Sort of place Latics will get a result.

Don't hold me to that, just something we have specialised in over the years, getting something at places you wouldn't fancy us at

if only your philosophy applied to games at Boundary Park eh 😉

It did last time Bolton were there tGWB.

I think this current lot will struggle though, need some strong leaders in there and i am not seeing any.

Our form at BP this season is desperately worrying, 0 points against Orient, Crawley & Morecambe doesn't offer much assurance that we will not have another season of struggle

Bobby Madley, ex-PL and Fifa ref who got "sacked" for mocking a disabled child is the ref.

I think when we've had PL / Championship level refs we've done better than expected in recent years.

I think there is a PhD in analysing away results vis a vis   refs, overnight stays, derbies, club size, televised or not, etc

This could be an even more terrible spectacle than we've had so far!

I've got a couple of Bolton mates coming over to watch it and they are saying the same things we are saying to be honest and they are a dull watch apparently.  They aren't happy.  They do an awful lot of sideways passing and don't seem to have any cutting edge.

Could go either way.

Won't you be breaking current Covid-19 rules on mixing households?

If anyone can't bear to watch then commentary is available on Radio Bolton Manchester!

It is currently Thursday and the EFL transfer window shuts in just over thirty hours. If we do not bring in a couple of defensive minded players then I fear that it will be more of the same against Bolton.

I have no confidence in our central defenders or central midfield at the moment. If McAlmont is back then he will be straight back into the middle of the park but, in my opinion, it is too early to judge his effectiveness.

The other variables are the fitness of Lawlor and Badan - both are needed.

And I wonder who a certain David Wheater will be supporting on Saturday? 🤔

All in a fully legal capacity I assume? No Covid or broadcast laws violated? Any drugs or hookers?

Yes. Probably. Although we do work together, so we can easily have a meeting at the same time.
