Hands on
One could watch with 5 mates in the back garden under a hastily erected shelter with a patio heater only to find next week that we can't even meet outside either.

One could drive to work 45 mins every day with the same person, work in close contact w them all day for 9 hours then commute home in the van with them, they could then play in a FA sanctioned match for the same Football team. Then after spending these 50+ hours together all week when they go pub after the match they MUST NOT SOCIALISE!! Thems the rules.

unsworth blue
Many memories of Latics games v Bolton (mainly at home to be fair) but been watching Latics at Burnden since 1972, for latics fans of my age, these are our real enemies - always a right rough set of b******s. Some fabulous memories from the 70s and 80s but the best away day was undoubtedly 1994 when the Bear seized on a bad backpass and put Latics 1-0 up in a game where we could have been 5 down, 4000 Latics fans went delirious on the old Railway Embankment. Rough as old boots the Wanderers but here's to a welcome 3 points tomorrow and a chance to write our own history at the Reebok or whatever its called now, only played once there and got dicked 0-2. Still have a strong healthy disregard for them all these years later

Visiting Burnden Park was a real occasion, a proper football stadium, the atmosphere was something else. Even school football matches in Bolton were rough, they hated us and it was mutual! Monty Burns
Mates dad dropped us off when we were about 12 cool AF in our replica shirts think we lost 3-1 and grown blokes were knocking us about after the match when we were trying to get back to the car. Looked forward to it ever since. Pretty gutted today, but the 3 points will help.

Monty Burns
I'd chuck the new lad in, drop Hamer and put Jombati at RB. MacAlamint in for Garrity. If Bahamboula doesn't start I'm probs goin training on Monday to voice my displeasure in a socially distanced manner.
