He dropped down the leagues as a utd player, dropped further as an unemployed player! Willing to make the sacrifice to climb back up again. For me yes but..... Purely my opinion, but I think you’ve got to be looking at least 50 league games in the progressional game to say you made it- or had a good crack. Evina absolutely made it- no question. So, so many players make less than that but claim they had career. Partly that and partly due to the defender not forcing him wide enough we had 3 on 2 so the defenders had to back off they did the right thing in that respect. Just that when he got to the box he should have forced Dearnley wider. That said it's a terrific individual goal to run from inside your own half which was worthy of winning any game. I've been under-impressed with Tom Hamer this year but it's great to see him getting in the picture for both goals, especially making a 70 yard run in support for the winner. Willie Morgan, Whatmore and Worthington. Still, i also remember them on the slide, and a particularly funny own goal my Mike Doyle, chipping McDonough (poser keeper). Then they had a bit of a revival when big Sam was playing. Best thing to come out of Bolton was the excellent Paul Jones. Did a great job for us. He was signed, by Scholes, to play up front initially (his first season he was our #9). His speed will still be an asset and he showed quite a good rapport with Rowe last season.
