We are not half decent by any stretch, terrible second half, walk in the park for Port Vale that. They wont have many more comfortable games than that.

If the second half was terrible what does that make the first half?

Second half was an improvement but it wouldn’t have been that difficult after the abysmal first 45. Clarke had his header cleared off the line and Piergianni maybe should have done better with his as we pushed for the equaliser.

Of those who started, only Lawlor, Clarke, Piergianni, Rowe and to a lesser extent Dearnley and Bahamboula came out of the game with any credit.

Fage did well from the bench.

Southend next - they’re bottom of the league aren’t they?

Lose to them and HK must fear for his job.

Dearnleys flick was impressive for the goal but beyond that i wouldnt have thought we were chasing the game with the lack of urgency on show. I thought they had a little more in the first half albeit not much! Apart from two or three we are decidedly non descript and noticably lightweight particularly against Port Vale today. We look scarily vulnerable in defence which is due in part to the weak midfield.

Onto Southend Tues, yes i think they are bottom or thereabouts

Yes i think Southend are bottom.

Fell out with ALMO about signings. Specifically Jom Batty.

Dino was right, he was on his way to a decent team, ALMO should have let him bring his own players in, but they know best of course.

Maybe so, I did think Dino deserved an opportunity to show what his side could do.

Not to say Dino by nature played attractive, expansive football, far from it at times, but the honesty and passion was there.

Fact remain, our two best players from last season are gone, plus Wheater is exiled, big problem.

The midfield is an utter shambles.

If Chris McCann is still a free agent, his phone should be ringing tonight.

Chris McCann would do well to avoid this shit show, as I'm sure he is perfectly aware.

The squad was better last season, but we would be no better this season under Maamria and probably worse.

No idea why people are pining for him, I would take any other manager we've had under the current regime over him.

You didn't enjoy the Newport win last season then?

Seriously?!

That's it?!?

Did you enjoy him playing for a point at home to Stevenage when they were the worst team in the league for twenty years?

Did you enjoy him repeatedly playing 4-5-1 with three holding players against teams we we superior to?

Did you enjoy him playing half a season long ball up to Azankpo playing on his own?

Did you enjoy him playing for a point at Salford, then abusing the fans after the match?

Christ on a sodding bicycle.

He has been a failure every club he's managed bar Northwich Victoria

Might as well give the job to Wolf from Gladiator if all you want is someone with big arms to wave at the players

It's quite hilarious reading fans' comments squabbling over the inadequacies (or not) of managers present and recent past. There's none so blind as those that cannot see is there? Have you not quite sussed out yet where ALL of our problems lie? Every single one of them.

Unbelievable - absolutely unbelievable.
