What a truly ridiculous comparison, you've made a complete tit of yourself there.    Moreover, the dig at PTB is unfair and completely unjustified.

If raising awareness of the shocking behaviour from the club to a long list of playing and non playing staff is ‘Causing trouble’ in your eyes then yes we are. How many more experienced/ and or qualit

So Byrne, Fane, Gerrard, Davies, Mills, Woods and so on should keep happening? Because fans shouldn’t get involved? That mentality has got us in this position at what point do you stand back and go we

Any less professional than PTB and their campaign/publicity stunt?

Where did that come into a discussion about Wheater?  PTB are just fans. Oldham Athletic is meant to be the professional football club with professional CEO and personnel dept.

Has he taken legal action against the club Eyresey?

Would muddy the waters I suspect but if Wheater insists he wants to play for OAFC and he is not unfit, would think that the club should at least include him in the squad as he is likely to improve the team/bench

If Wheater will be, as he claims on Twitter, fit to rejoin the squad in a couple of days, then we should see him travel down to H&RB on Saturday with the rest of the lads. Shouldn’t  we...?

Wheatz

With him 26.5% win ratio
Without him 27.3% win ratio

- Wage dispute 💰
- Positive Covid test ⚠️
- Getting concussion 🤕
- Injured picking up his dog 🐕
- Moving house 🏠

He’s not a Scouser is he 😂😂

The club is a laughing stock. Is your acceptance of what the owner is doing regarding wheater and the rest previously suggesting that you back the owner with these decisions?

No. I do find it interesting that this one is so one sided in the eyes of a lot of the fanbase though. Not sure a supporters group should be getting involved with team affairs either.

For me the #FreeWheatz was a fun and innovative way of highlighting an issue at our club

Fans felt cut off from what was going on with rumours all over the place

The club have responded so its worked to a point

Well played PtB for me 👏👏

I don't see how anybody in their right mind can disparagingly piff in the general direction of anything 'causing trouble' against the regime.

A top legal eagle could probably even mount a decent 'diminished responsibility' defence if somebody reacted violently to one of their smug faces.

Obvs I condemn such completely hypothetical behaviour.

ps Play offs minimum so no need.

😬🙄.

I would say you should judge each one on its merits. Is it that unreasonable to ask your highest earner to take a pay cut in these extraordinary times?

Most fans of any sport know you cant build a strong club/team ethic by treating your players and staff poorly

If someone isnt a ‘team player’ I would much prefer the club to come out n say so and move the player or staff member on, with the appropriate severance package

PtB are absolutely right to keep pushing regarding standing up for players and staff to be treated fairly by our Owner and Board of Directors

We will get nowhere without building a team in which players and staff feel appreciated and valued

Our supporters need to understand that as well

(cue shitbombs incoming 😂)

Is it unreasonable to ask these current players were paid on time before Covid hit? If your employer asked you to take a pay cut despite continually not paying you on time would you be inclined to help out? I wouldn’t. Football is a business it’s no different.

You think there are no common factors in so many cases?

Accumulation of evidence.

Of course, they are undoubtedly lousy and inept owners.

Our fans just seem to pick and choose when and what to be angry about.

When? All the time.

What? All of it.

Picky? No.

Choosy? No.

Nobody batted an eyelid about Giles Coke being frozen out, Gerrard was a fat waste of space so deserved it, Wellens took us down etc etc.
