Oh I agree mate. He absolutely doesn’t, nor am I claiming he does. I’m just highlighting the difference in recruitment - particularly over the last 12 months.  While we still sign a lot of squad fillers of very suspect quality, we have signed a fair few decent young players with good pedigree. IE to be kept on at Monaco/Utd/Arsenal you must have something- it gives me more confidence than singing Omrani or Segbe for instance. Now they might still turn out to be shit;  but at the very least you can see some thought or sense in why they’ve been brought in.

I agree with this. He might turn out to be shit but you've got to have something to get through these youth systems. If one of these players with pedigree gets confidence and games they could grow into a good player for the club and we will be better off performance wise and we always have the option of financial income from a sale.

Wheater back training piergiaano and young lad sutton who will only get better the Italian full back to come in too badan I think his name is , goals dont seem to be a problem which last 3 seasons have been. Could be light at end of tunnel.

So how many CBs do we now have?

David Wheater CB

Kyle Jameson CB

Carl Piergianni CB

Sido Jombati CB and RB

Tom Hamer RB and CB

Harrison Clarke CB

Raphael Diarra CB

I heard they were looking at another one too.

Did I miss any?

Surely that is enough for a club without any money

Jombati and Hamer are not CBs, even if they get played there to fill the position

Sutton is promising but not ready for first team action in the league

I’m fairness, if he keeps Hamer out the side then I’m all for it.

He couldn’t get near conference south opposition from what I saw (about Ntambwe)

One small thread but you’ve managed to diss three of the squad... I guess you won’t be taking a seat in the ‘Positivity Boat’ just yet?  😀

We sit 19th in league 2 so I am probably not wrong, these are also defensive players and with 21 goals conceded in the league it proves it even more.

To be positive, I think Dearnley, McAleny and Rowe is up there with the best strike force in this league. I also think Lawlor is good for this level.

The other players, are just a bit shit and you could play any of them.

Not seen enough to really know but based on Lawlor at Hampton unconvinced.  The legs first challenge for the penalty was very odd and then he did the same again later

Yeah it was very odd. A bit Pickford-esque. Reports that he’s kept us in a lot of games or stopped a cricket score this season. I think he’s a definite upgrade on Zeus. But then I think you or I would be as well-  so that’s not saying much.
