I keep wondering why with all the tinkering HK hasn't yet played Grant as an central midfielder, he's usually been wide or up front where he's  not really effective.

He's strong and what's more can actually pass a ball unlike some others tried there

Thats where l play him on FIFA 🙄 Well, when he gets off the bench anyway!

Yes. A midfielder from the Northern Premier League Division One North who "has bags of potential" but will wear the No9 shirt because it's available.

I was thinking a 25 year old who came through St Etienne youth team in 2015 and has 22 career appearences and 1 goal to his name.

Do your stuff Mo

How old?

Akinde is 31. He's scored plenty of goals since 2013 and he's a 1 in 3 striker in games he has started. Include his subs as well and he's 1 in 4. He would be a great signing, but Gillingham would want a decent fee I suspect.

Not like a player derided as 'shit' at Latics to escape up the leagues is it??

Probs find a home nations gran and play international within 18 months. Best be a hefty sell on involved..

Yep, another player who for months has been criticised on here yet he manages to get a move to a higher standard of football. Good luck to the lad, he has been a good servant to this club.

Moving to a higher standard and playing at a higher standard are very different.

Tom's not progressed as we all hoped he would, for whatever reason, but best wishes to him to get his career back on  track.

He's not "shit", but I would suggest his game has declined somewhat, probably due to the way the club is at the moment.

Can't blame any player for not wanting to stick around as it stands and his career needs a boost.  Good luck to him..

No Hamer is shit, he can’t defend to save his life. He’s gone to Burton, who are 100% getting relegated to league 2, and he’s only going there because a previous shit manager Dino, who is now assistant, is getting him.

Best to cash in on him now. Adams, Jombati, Fage all ahead of him. Clarke and Diarra can play right back just as well. See you later Tom

When you put it like that...

Jambutty isn't a good footballer, too slow upstairs to react to any situation, Fage is fast but that's all, the Flying Scotsman was fast but they both have the inability to cross a ball and the jury is still out on Diarra as we haven't seen enough of him. Hamer was good enough when playing with Clarke but we don't have a dominant experienced centre half so he'll be better off at Burton. We need 2 centre halves and quick.
