Shez was all in on Connor Ripley and threw a strop when he was told his keepers were BPF and Placide. He said that the Leeds lad was no good and sent him back. Turns out his assessment was wrong and our history could have been very different had he played Peacock-Farrell from the outset. It is clear there was massive interference with the squad from the minute that the Legsamams were at the Club. I can’t blame Shez for being pissed off with that but his attitude in those few weeks was a major contributor in us getting relegated. Wellens sealed the deal after January with his myriad of excuses while Corney and the Lemmys share significant blame too, particularly for getting rid of Peter Clarke.
