L1onheartNew
Well, i put three beers in the fridge ready for the game and set my alarm for 12:45 am. Got up. Game off! Dilemma: Do I go back to bed and catch up on much needed sleep? Naaaa, I am up now and my brain is expecting 3 beers. Put the Newport (A) game on again. 39 minutes gone and its 1-1. Its quite a good game.

It is second only to American football in the boredom stakes. Baseball runs it close as well. Just my opinion, of course. It is a very distant second in that case. Nothing beats American football for sheer unadulterated tedium. I was invited to Wembley a couple of years ago for the Ravens v Jaguars match. Fantastic hospitality up in the Olympic gallery, free food and beer, terrific host, and it still didn't make up for the match being incredibly long-winded and boring. GKing521
Shame that in 2021 that games in the professional sector are still hampered by rain. If the powers that be won’t dedicate funds, what can you do?

The championship clubs have absolutely no excuse at all.
