Nicky Adams great, Dylan B needs to be tied in to a contract somehow, it will be cruel to never see him at BP. Can we all agree that Pidge is the right player for now, never mind what he isn't or never will be, didn't miss a header, scored a good goal. Diarra, despite being a walking red card, was OK at centre back in the 1st half. Jameson did a solid job at left back. But how much better did Clarke look alongside Piergianni. It was right to take McAleny off as he is so slow getting into games. I can see him being sub against Bolton. Nice cameo from Fage, injected some much needed pace. Poor first half, and an awful goal to concede, but second half they were always on the front foot and the pressure lead to the penalty. I respect your opinions but McAlmont has been good recently. Gets around and covers ground for our forwards who don’t move unless it’s running forward. Recent performances say he's worse. Pierrgianni is a beast. Might not be gifted but u get what is on the tin and like someone has just posted, he steadies his partner. Id much rather he steady diarra than clarke for our long term gain. I think diarra has something in him. Featured Comment Careca9 Posted February 27, 2021 Featured Comment Share Posted February 27, 2021 wow, a game of two halves, much better effort in the second half although how we manage to get 3 goals i dont know. have to comment though, that carlise for a team chasing promotion were absolutely shite for 90 mins. long ball all day. only in front because of rank bad defending from us. our first half performance was terrible. no outlet, no passing, offered nothing. cbj played well, easily our best left back and should be played regularly, diarra was decent i thought although caught on it twice and kewell learnt from last week and it was def the right call to take him off. piergianni had a good game and grant showed why he should have been playing ahead of tasnedir last two games as he put himself about and tried to make something off the scraps he got. bahamboula showed why he has to stay on for 90 mins no matter how he is playing as his goal basically has won us that today. Hilsner, mcalmont, mcaleney not good games today. kewell - rank poor game. wrong tactics and team at start. midfield play from us is non existent with people playing out of position and i think we were very lucky to get back in this. I missed this one due to other more pressing issues. I saw the score at H/T, thought the worse and didn't get chance to check again until the game had finished.
