DKD was involved throughout the game and shows a rare composure when on the ball. He still has moments when his control lets him down and maybe he could improve his contribution when out of possession

Agree with thisBigDog.  So we are now top scorers in the division....if someone had said that at the start of the season id have said they were a basket case. However I'd also have said if we wer

Should be a big win.We know from experience though this is a likely 1-0 defeat.

Hopefully KC has changed the mindset for games like this

Colchester’s last three away results (at Bolton, Salford & Grimsby) have all been 0-0. This either suggests that they are set up very defensively with the aim being not to concede or that they are not very good going forward.

Three of our four goals at Crawley were balls over the top -  It will require a different approach to the Crawley game from us as they will most likely sit deep.

Patience may be needed but an early goal for Latics would change everything.

Agree with us having to break them down differently to what we did to Crawley on Monday, although I'd definitely start with the same XI that started that game.

I think they'll set up very defensively like they surely have for the last 3 away games, but 10 away games without a goal indicates that there's something more that's wrong with them than just their set up.  I hope we don't do our usual trick of ending their run.

Rumours swirling tomorrow nights opponents are in serious trouble financially and could be going to the wall.

That's if it isn't us instead?

As bad as things are for us (and there's always the lingering feeling that the worst is yet to come) there's surely no way that we are £30m in debt as the rumours are saying about Colchester.

How the hell does a club of that size (that's supposedly fairly well run) get into that much debt?!

The mind most certainly boggles but it is possible that good things can happen and a club can sustain itself given a little push, Accrington are a classic example of how to do things the right way, always had a small budget using borrowed players most of the time, ground improvements on a shoestring within the said budget, bigger crowds from playing in a higher league.

If they can do it, I'm sure we could

Apparently it’s the owners company that’s fucked but the club is interlinked to his businesses. But all guess work at this stage. Not nice to see any club go to the wall.

Exactly, the current restrictions can't have helped any clubs, hope they can sort their problems.

Travelling around 240 miles before playing a game of football surely can't be good preparation. Their chairman is denying they are in trouble financially, so why do this to save on hotel bills.
