A Majority shareholding or purchase the Stadium or both. It will not be used to buy a minority shareholding with the current owner. Any change from that will have to be voted on by the members. Is the Lottery the only way to fundraise for the Contingency Fund? It is the first project, but by no means the last. A new website, with other methods of raising money is going to be launched soon. There were no winners this week. The draw for next week increases to £550. The Lucky Dip prize of £5 was won by S. Oldham, who will be contacted by Tracy, Trust Director, by email. The draw for next week increases to £600. The Lucky Dip prize of £5 was won by P Davis, who will be contacted by Tracy, Trust Director, by email. A reminder that the Contingency Fund will be independently run, is for majority shareholding if the opportunity arises or stadium ownership if that came to pass, but does what it says on the tin and is a contingency. BP1960 Posted August 23, 2021 Share Posted August 23, 2021 How about a big business raffle. 500 tickets at £100. £10,000 to the winner the remainder to OASF? Or more ambitiously if we can get multiple nationals on board £1000 a ticket. You will never know if you don't try. Some companies will buy several tickets so with the obvious media interest attracted it could work. I think we have seen it done with raffles for houses so why not football?
