Should be good practice for our likely first away league match down south.

What’s that mean? Can’t see anything useful in it I’m afraid BP

Maybe they could do a few laps of the Manchester ring roads to prepare themselves for a trip to Crawley...

I'm ok with supporting some of the local non league teams in the friendlies, Ashton, Stalybridge and Wigan,

It does them the same sort of favours that those regional giants Crewe and Huddersfield are doing for us.

Its all cheap for travel for the club.

Be nice if there was something a bit more adventurous too.

Based on last seasons home form though I'd put them on a coach for two laps of the M60 and tell them its an away game.

Great Scott Pete. If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.

We are the second of two games Huddersfield are playing on the same day.
That’s different!

Pity we can't play Crewe too while both clubs are there.😄

I presume at least one of the trialists is a goalkeeper, otherwise the youth keeper will have to play in these friendly's

We could borrow one I suppose from Ashton. 😆
