Pre Match Protest vs Hartlepool

I must state it is illegal to fly a drone within certain distances of buildings and large groups. Shame as otherwise it may be a goer as it's possibly safer than people lobbing balls etc from outside.

Very complacent. The administrator may not be able to keep things going for more than a week or two. If a buyer doesn't appear very quickly we'd be history.

I think admin would short term see a real increase in cash levels in terms of fan attendance. Plus the sort of debt needed for admin, tax, police etc would wait to the last possible time to pull the plug.

Do we actually know what AL is asking for to sell the club? Considering its literally just the name you're buying it surely can't be that high. The main cost would be clearing debts and buying assets such as the ground I would have thought?

Rumored to be between £6m & £10m so anyone wanting to buy can just sit back and wait for admin and pick it up for a lot less

This.

Even better (worse for us). Our only worth is our EFL status, if we get relegated, we can be even cheaper then.

I heard a rumour he'd borrowed £6M which might explain his ridiculous asking price.

Mo probably told him he'd easily make it back in transfer fees!!!

I agree, but it's still some money thrown away...why?

I guess it could be like dealing in the stock market for him. It's easy to buy stock in a company, but it's much harder to sell when the share price keeps dropping. You can get to the stage where you've lost quite a bit, but keep hanging on, hoping the shares go back up again, when the right thing to do is sell early and cut your losses. Then invest in another company to get your money back that way.

AL has hung on so long, he has no chance of getting his money back, so he's just keeping hold of his shares.

And we have two saleable assets - granted we'd probably only get half of what we probably should, but would keep us ticking over for a few weeks

What are those salable assets? If you are talking about players, they can't be sold outside the transfer windows.

only 2 I can think of are Vaughan and Bahamboula - go into admin any other month than January and we are screwed

I heard this morning that tickets are back on sale for Hartlepool. Has anyone bought one today. I'm turning up to protest so I thought I'd dent my boycott and have a first hand look at the class of 2021 whilst giving AL my thoughts from the stand.

I'm turning up to protest as well, does anyone know if its pay on the day as work has took me away for the week. Fancy giving the verbal, who knows a centre circle sit in as well, I haven't been on the pitch since 1974.

Can you give them a few pelters for me while you're at it?
