Yeah, self preservation has finally kicked in eh?

He’s less prepared to spout the outright bullshit he’s been spewing at us since he got here.

He knows the game’s nearly up for him here and instead of keeping the owners sweet, he’s switching to laying the ground in the media for why none of this is his fault for when he’s interviewing for his next job.

Absolutely zero respect for this crap.

It is possible he was injured and that has cleared up meaning the impediment is the (not really so hard to understand) loan rules preventing registration of players on contracts longer than a year.

Possibly Curle assumed a degree of competence that the club could sort out a contact in the time it took the injury to heal.

I'm not sure this makes much of an argument for Curle. If it enhances/maintains his integrity it probably enhances his naivety. That or the incompetence at the club is so great as to be beyond anyone's reasonable worst case expectations.

Blaming individual errors when its the team formation which is all at sea won't get the players on board.

Too much technical stuff, videos, charts etc just confuse  players.

The answer is a simple tactic with players in  positions they are used to and tell them to go for it.

Which formation do you suggest?

Can't see him being the answer alongside Pidge tbh, they strike me as very similar (slow, brave, loves a header, loves a block). The three other defenders are going to need pace and discipline or an excellent reading of the game, which isn't a standout feature for Fage and we aren't getting much use out of Hart.
