Jesus we’re going to be dreaming of the glory days of competing in the Papa Johns trophy. I dread to think of some of the shit cups we’ll be involved in now.

Try Anglo Scottish league and Italian

Here is a map of grounds including those potentially promoted into Nat League and play off hopefuls who might get prmoted to L2. I've assumed Stockport will get promoted inot L2 and Maidstone into Nat League.

Our last 8 away games of the season. Be prepared to clock up the miles and hope your owners pay for overnight stays.

Torquay

 Chesterfield

Wealdstone

Bromley

Woking

Weymouth

Boreham Wood

Dagenham.

The words "FA Trophy" is the moment it's all just hit home...

We also won't be able to take part in the league Cup....

Feels like we are entering a whole new world here. I'm curious about how it will all pan out. If we get new owners I might even dare to get excited.

Still we might face Glossop in the FA Trophy.

Neil lives round Glossop hence the erm "confusion" if you want to call it that I imagine it would have been an absolute bloody nightmare of a commute on a daily basis to Fylde and back. Guessing he worked from home mostly.

I don't think the away capacity at Fylde will be very big, it's a pretty small ground. It's about a fifteen minutes walk from Kirkham & Wesham station, bw.

I'm not convinced they will make it up. They will possibly have to beat Brackley and maybe Kidderminster, which would be tough.

Incredible that Brackley Town are in the National League North

And Gloucester!
Especially with Chppienham BAth and OXford in the South. But when you look at them on a map, it's hard to see how else but base it off the motorway

I’ve said it time and again.

IF we get new owners.

IF we win most weeks.

The good times will come back very quickly- fans aren’t arsed about the league they’re in. They care about winning and hope.

It's an anomaly that has built up over a number of years. Promotion and relegation into and out of the EFL doesn't respect geographical balance.  And if you go back far enough weren't there three tiers of regional football funnelling Into just two when you go down to about tier seven/eight?

I exspect a lot of ribbing from home fans anout our Premiership days

Still looking forwards to  visiting  mew grounds  as well as some old ones.

Just praying we get rid of these truly despicable  owners who could have prevented this.

Sorry for sounding so ignorant with this post but is anyone else reading these team names and wondering what’s going on?

Also had to Google what the FA Trophy is and how it works. The prospect of watching us play Morpeth Town on a cold Tuesday night makes Latics v Stevenage feel like El Classico now.

Feels like we’re living through a Stephen King novel after he watched Goal 2. Hitting home like a tonne of bricks now.
