What a time to be alive.

Stockport are running at a £50k loss per week I understand, surely history will repeat itself in this instance.

Aside from this, this is a graphic of agents 'intermediary' fees for non league teams. Notice that South Shields are on that list.

They are in the Northern Premier League, and currently in the play-offs.

South Shields lost in the playoffs again. Always a big team in a small league but daren't risk going up from the Northern League when there was a choice. Now have some fair backing (and bloody good crowds for down there). Potentially the third biggest North East team (if you count Boro as the dirty Yorkshire ****s that they are).

A few teams from the NL (or recently there) will float up the leagues, Dunston, Shildon, Consett, Bishop Auckland (conference facilities and such meant the pandemic nailed them), the new Durham team (Durham City will probably go old yeller over the summer). The romantic in me would love to see West Auckland too, but they are very much a side at their level.

Spennymoor are a great advert for a local team. Lots of local business involvement, lads and lasses teams from a young age. Just a shame everyone supports another team.

Hi. I'm a Grimsby fan. Was hoping you guys would of  stayed up and Stevenage or Barrow of come back down.

Proper clubs like Oldham shouldn't be non league just goes to show what bad owners can do.  We had it 5 years down here finally get promoted and our old owner was so tight he offerd our 34 goal forward who got us promoted less money to play in league 2.

Its not all that bad in the conforence though. The standerd is not much difference to league 2 apart from the bottom few teams. Theres some good away days. We seem to get better support in non league than in league 2.

Its getting out the league that's the tough bit. The top few teams are really competitive. We are not good enough to go up so I'm hoping Wrexham and Stockport go up.

Good look for the future.

In terms of the conference north, surely to God we want either York or Chorley up just for the top day out either are?

Kings Lynn relegated so along with Dover and Weymouth that's 3 long haul away days avoided.

Accidently watched the scores on BT instead of Sky this afternoon the coverage for the National League games was miles better will be tuning in for the rest of the Southern away games next season.

Watching County. They're getting beat by Borehamfucking wood. Borehamwood have some brick shithouse players and like to 'keep it simple.' They have around 20 fans behind the goal. It's going to be a long season.

That said, they deserve to be winning. County look nervous.

And sales of the excellent non league paper should shoot up.

Dropped points again this afternoon 🙈

Wrexham now just a point behind but Stockport have a game in hand, however Stockport’s last 4 games are against, Torquay, Chesterfield, Halifax, and Wrexham!!

Unfortunately the new ground is on a rerail park out of town with no pubs nearby .Unlike the old Bootham Crescent ( Kitkat crescent ) that was near the city centre and lots of great boozers .

Shit...is nothing sacred.

Used to be at least 6 good pubs on our way up there.

My late father supported Marine (as well as Latics) and always bought this paper. Yes is really interesting giving detailed coverage of matches in the higher "non EFL" leagues as well as all scores in the rest. A great read.

Really?

Stockport have to go to Wrexham and there are 3 games to play. Stockport have a game in hand V Torquay and play Halifax at home last game.

Dropping 2 points to a team who played over 45 with 10 men? Shocker of a result.
