So om paper we have a starting X1.

Seems mad doesn't it.

Sign two midfielders and keep Adams and Stobbs and that is somehow something near a pretty experienced full squad.

A really shit full squad but, still....

Hard to imagine we are only 1 league away from Curzon Ashton. A ground actually closer for some Latics fans than Boundary Park.

Maybe they just feel NL is his level now. He's 33 and they're not exactly strapped for cash. Or maybe he wanted a guarantee of regular football at his age

it’s probably the same as Salford and Pidge…they loved him, was Captain, or at least a leader, of their team that got out of the NL but they didn’t feel he had the qualities to be part of a League 1 promotion push

Pidge was one of our better players, a couple of half decent midfielders and a decent striker we would have finished above them.

Sorry but being a decent player amongst that lot means nothing.

I'm shit but would shine in an under 9s side

Im happy with Porters return to BP despite what happened years ago.Time to move on. Id like Adams to sign and a couple more especially  a  quick winger who can cross the ball and another keeper.

Plus another 6 or seven at least hopefully.

That squad just looks so poor.

Is it only me that’s really not that arsed if Adams signs or not ? If he does, meh if he doesn’t, meh also.

The worry for me is we now have 3 “strikers” hope, porter and fondop. Hope didn’t score many last season, porter may get 10if we are lucky, same fondop. We need a bit of pace up there, the classic small man to feed off them. Can’t see us having 4 strikers.
