yarddog73
Due to be released on Wednesday at 1pm. What are we all hoping for? I wouldn't mind an away day first up - one of Halifax, York, Dale, Fylde would do but I suspect it will be Boston or Tamworth home or away live on BT given we are probably the biggest draw in the division. Also expecting most of the local aways on a Tuesday night as per last season.

Don’t all clubs request certain fixtures at certain times, (the league do their best to make it work) I can only assume that a lot of the clubs turn down our away following on Saturday because the ticket revenue doesn’t cover policing. There’s no other explanation why so many of our local/northern away trips are on a Tuesday.
trickyrickyholden
Yeah i seem to recall Darren Royle mentioning this. If this has happened on the back of requests from the club that's a massive shame and shows disregard for football as a spectator sport rather than just a logistics operation. aaronoafc
Reckon we’ll be at home first game to someone like Eastleigh
Hemel latic
I'm in the South East so probably looking forward to the Southend trip the most, would prefer it early or late for the better weather. Braintree will be a new ground, we've had good results at Barnet (soo far) and I like the ground and atmos at Aldershot. I expect TNT will go with one of the newly promoted teams for the first televised game, I guess as a big dog in the league we have a chance of bring the oppo. peanuts2
We are due to start at home and finnish away as we have started away & finished at home last two seasons unless we are requesting due to pitch work ?
JoeP
I think the release of the football fixtures is possibly the most exciting part of the season. Planning away trips and days out, etc. Especially tomorrow, with England playing in the evening. Closely followed by the day before the season kicks off. The nearest thing you can get to Christmas Eve as a football-loving adult. Of course it all goes to shit not long after that when you find your hope and expectations are misplaced, but it's nice while it lasts... I just want to win at all costs.

ShireBlue
The pitch work has just been completed. Roughyeds had 5 away fixtures in a row to allow it to be done over May and June.

LaticsLegend
Sums up the National League when they need to ask clubs who their longest and shortest journeys are. 55 minutes ago, LaticMark said: "The League sends a fixture questionnaire to all clubs where they are asked a number of questions such as whether they would like to nominate certain days not to be at home." BradKnowles1
We are due a home game surely however, I’ve been told the club have requested the first two games away. This is to sort out the hospitality seating due to the development of the fans bar.
