The seven-year agreement will begin in August, showcasing the competition across more than 200 countries globally and bringing with it a whole new audience.

The arrangement with the British company will include both broadcast and streaming rights across the DAZN network around the world for the benefit of all 72 member clubs.

The agreement with DAZN will run until 2031 and will enable National League matches to be accessed across all platforms including desktop, smart TVs, IOS, Android, SKY Q, Virgin Media, Apple.tv, Amazon Firestick and even games consoles.

General Manager Mark Ives says: "We are incredibly excited about this groundbreaking long-term joint venture with DAZN, one of the biggest players in sports broadcasting and the deal demonstrates the continuing growth and reach of the National League.

"The global exposure DAZN will bring the League and our clubs cannot be overstated. DAZN will be using their vast expertise in sports broadcasting and streaming to allow fans in both the UK and internationally to access live matches across all connected devices like never before.

"We look forward to working very closely with them to enhances the viewing experience for all fans that can’t be at the stadium, which we believe is to the full benefit of our clubs and their supporters.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank TNT Sports for the wonderful coverage and support they have provided.”

DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev offered some more insight into what we can expect.

He said: “DAZN’s technology makes us uniquely placed to create destinations for sports fans, and this multi-year partnership will allow us to create a global home for the National League, helping fans better access the teams they are so passionate about, while creating engagement opportunities to access new audiences.

“This is the latest in a series of channel deals which leverage DAZN’s scale and industry-leading tech stack to revolutionise the way rights holders increase exposure to domestic and international audiences and develop their sport digitally and commercially.”

Doubt it reading that. Might be harder to nip over to the states to watch away games. .

I manage to get to about 80% of games luckily, but yeah, whenever I can’t go I take a trip to Canada and watch it. Shame if they do get rid.

Looks like they're showing all the games (just not 3pm Saturday) but I think VPN would still get you around that, unless their tech is better at recognising it.

I like DAZN's platform I watch a lot of boxing on it. The TV App is decent.

Only Issue I had is that I pay £9.99 a month for it but it is due to increase to £14.99 a month at the end of my current contract which wound me up because I thought a 50% increase for the same content was a huge increase. Now it feels worth it.

What else is on it? Boxing's not for me

I read Dazn block any VPNs they can.

Your loss!

Tried it several times, didn't get it at all - moved on and lost nothing.

I recall debating the respective merits of cricket and NFL with this chap  George Martin (American football) - Wikipedia when I was running a management course he attended in a Bordeaux chateau.  He agreed cricket was better... :)

The Americans don't uderstand test cricket though, saying how can a game last 5 days and result in a draw.

Although very rarely these days.

I once got an American vey interested in a a one day international once, following it throughout the day.  It (Feb 2005) ended in a tie, which i had trouble explaining

To me that's like saying the book is better than the film adaptation. It's not better, it's different (although I prefer cricket and it may well be the apogee of Western civilisation).

Although that would relate to test cricket and, let's be honest, it's dying on it's arse - which is a massive shame

England are doing their bit to revive it to be fair.

I love test cricket and prefer it to the 20/50 over version, but it's increasingly difficult to look outside us, Australia, India and SA for competitive series. NZ and Pakistan have their moments and WI did win a test in Australia recently, but sadly the money (and the popularity) of test cricket is becoming increasingly concentrated. The decline of WI is particularly sad given their conveyor belt of great sides right up until the 90s.

Compared to NFL, a typical Latics performance under Unsworth was like watching Real Madrid at their peak.

Although I don't watch it regularly I've never heard an NFL team that bad they've been booed off the pitch.

Yes, although I liked Geoff Boycott he made sure test matches lasted 5 days.

No sport will survive if there's virtually no competition, and that's where we're heading
