GlossopLatic
Slightly surprised when I saw that Conlon had won the sponsors one I've gone for Jez on this one.
jsslatic
Jes for me but superb performances too from Charsley and Monthe - and very good performance from the rest.

Conlon a full 90 minute performance, was the foot in to break up their attacks, and his link play was good, the captaincy sat on him well. latics22
Fondop, worked his bollocks off! They were pulling his shirt time after time. Caused them serious headaches. Gardner and jes close 2nd. Edited August 10 by latics22
TheBigDog
Charsley was my choice
Shrek
Jez played well for a few brief spells. Gardner and Conlon were and will be our difference.

Looks like a fantastic fit for us. Good, solid right-back.
philliggi
The fact people cannot chose a clear winner for this stands us well for the season
yarddog73
I see Alex Reid is posting on here as Kitching has a vote.
Lags
I've gone for Conlon. Always looked for the ball and got his foot in to break up play. I thought he put his stamp on the game. There were plenty out there who did well and as a team on the whole a good performance. Edited August 11 by Lags
Bobledgersheart
Voted for Jes but it's nice to be faced with many viable options. Thought he put us on the front foot, was a good outlet and scared the life out of their defenders.
Lee Sinnott
I've voted for Jes too. He died off in the second half, but his pace and performance in the first half meant that the game was already done...
kowenicki
Jez, and by some distance. I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say that is one of the best debuts I’ve seen in decades.

welshgaz
Conlon for me. Jez was superb first half and that first touch from the high hanging ball over his head was sublime. However I only recall his second half contribution being caught offside 3 times when failing to look across the line.
LaticMark
I voted for Emmanuel Gaëtan Nguemkam Monthé, who I thought was a man mountain at the back.
