It was good to hear everything you had to say @Frankly Mr Shankly

I too was in that paddock Boxing day 1981 because my dad and elder cousin came that day, where as I'd normally be in the chaddy with my younger cousin, I was 19 at the time.

That was the switched fixture that was supposed to be played at Ewood but their pitch was frozen solid.

I must admit I was that day, it was bitterly cold and what a way to lose in front of that large crowd

Noel Brotherston with those corners and it had to be Simon Garner, what an ungainly little striker he was but he knew his way to goal
