Absolutely gutted that I can't make this one. It's one of them that I just think is destined to be a cracker.

Think if we played tranmere 10 times home and away next 10 games we beat them more than they beat us on current form.

Shite that you can't stream this one. For all the whining about keeping g things traditional etc, this is one area that needs modernising.

Especially true when games are a sell out.

Few saying Payne not being allowed to play

That will be a blow on two counts - that he can't play on Saturday, but also may well mean that Wigan want him back at the end of his initial loan (11 Nov). He's a big player for us already. If he does leave we'll need to get a similar player in, no one else on the books can do the job he does.

Does anyone know of any parking options near the ground, please?

Was going to ask the same. They advertised parking at the ground but it’s gone and so presume it’s sold out. They also have parking permits for residents, so parking may be an issue.
Hopefully some of the Tranmere fans who frequent on here come on and answer.

I'm sure you'll find someone willing to 'mind your car'

agreed. said all season that all was missing was a Daz Shez type player and it ia no coincidence we find it hard to lose since we brought one in. l'm not on twitter but hopefully its just the same type of people who reckon wigan won't lend us players 'because of Darren Royle' and not people who know what they are talking about.

massive player.

Mmmm never bought this argument, watching on TV cannot compete with being in a packed away end.

For games like this I've found the JustPark App very useful, I've had a quick look and there is parking available within a 10 minute stroll to the ground for as little a £7, up to £20 if you want it directly by the ground. Most parking spots are well reviewed and I've only had positive experiences.

*mind your car, mister?

At our first game in the first division I told the scally that offered that that I couldn't care less as it was a company car.  Nothing happened.

Cheers. I use another app and didn't see anything. Downloaded JustPark and found Sainsbury’s about 12 mins walk for £2. Booked.

I remember parking up near the Villa ground and saying to the gang of kids that I would pay them half up front and half when I got back - they were fine with this and were guarding the car when I returned!

Works on two levels..

Saw him in the flesh for the first time on Saturday and he must be 6ft 2inch +.  Not what I was expecting, for some reason...

I remember the first time I saw Glenn Hoddle play and was amazed to see that he was a massive piece of kit.

So. . with no Payne.

Does Clucas go straight in? Or do we play Hammond and bring him off the bench?

Think Clucas may be Conlons competition, Conlons been subbed a few times recently hasn’t he? Another DM needs to come in if Payne goes. Having a proper DM has been a big bonus recently.
