Stones has to win, even though apart from score, he did nothing much else.   Will Sutton had a very good game, especially in the second half when played in his true position.

It has to be Stones in the circumstances, but I think Sam Clucas deserves a special mention yesterday it was Interesting at 2-0 down yesterday watching him he was the one player communicating with the other players and showing the courage to be available for a pass and taking the ball. You can't just get promoted with just the captain leading you need a group of players who will collectively lead and take responsibility especially during difficult moments and he did that yesterday.

Difficult to see from 100 miles away.

His work rate was second to none, scored two goals at the best possible time and easily got my vote.

Working your bollocks off should be a given.  He was the best of a very average set of players. I actually felt sorry for Wealdstone, they also worked their bollocks off and got nowt.

Working your bollocks of is a given . To win the game playing below par is the sign of above average players for this league . Who had an off day by their recent high standards . But still managed to grind out a victory albeit not 4-0 like the previous two home games . As average as Wealdstone were they were very cynical and spoiled at every attempt  felt the penalty was just rewards for their continued attempts to get a player sent off. Shame because they played some decent stuff at times .

I didnt vote Stones ... not because I dont think he deserved it, but opted for Sutton as he didnt put a foot wrong and his run and pass started the 'ball' rollimg for us, before that we were limp. When he moved into Ralglans territory, he was simply superb. Hats off to him as he is not the first name on the team sheet whare Stones probably is.

Voted Stones for MOM but agree about Will's performance even though I've previously highlighted his shortcomings. Ogle looked a bit uncomfortable in the middle and we looked much better when he and Sutton swapped over which gave him more licence to maraud.:scarf001:

Isn't it really odd that Sutton and Ogle didn't start in the positions they ended.

Really suprised the management team didn't think that would be the best approach.

Didn't they start that way the last time they played together ?

Yes and Ogle had a stormer, fair play to the management team for changing it on Saturday.
