Hemel latic Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Hoping for a return to form, need to be on it for every game in this League, no easy games. Hopefully no new injury worries, Clucas and Charsley nearer to full match fitness. Hoping for a performance and result that set us up for a good Christmas.ย 1 Quote
Frankly Mr Shankly Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 It's got huffed and puffed our way to an uninspiring draw stamped all over this. Thankfully MM has been chucking stamps out most of this season. Quote

Frankly Mr Shankly Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Raglan will be out and he's trying to get fit for York. I don't have too many qualms about using Sutton to bridge injury periods. Obviously he's not as good defensively as Rags but he's decent going forward to exploit pockets (Our first goal on Saturday was developed from his burst deep into their half). We should have our first choice back three available in January too so giving Sutton these types of matches should help his development no end. ย Similarly up front, I think MM will start Fondop with Stones as a phsyical spearhead giving Norwood a useful rest ahead of the Xmas matches which he should start in with Stones. ย As for the ref, he's quite inexperienced and we've had him once (an unremarkable 1-1 at Wealdstone last season). Braintree was his last NL match where he booked 11 and sent off one when they played Fylde last month. ย 1 Quote

Hobson will be a welcome return and iโm sure weโll still see plenty of him but I doubt heโll be a regular starter. Caprice at RWB and Ogle RCB arenโt getting dropped and we lose too much from an attacking sense when Hobson plays.ย 1 Quote

Ogle's settled into his role now and Caprice offers much more as an attacker with his ball delivery. Having Hobson involved means you don't have to change from three at the back if one suffers a knock and I'm sure injury or suspension will affect Monthe at some point. 1 Quote
disjointed Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 I hope Raglan is back for the York game as Monthe looks more comfortable on the ball when Raglan is there.ย 2 Quote

Sloshed Joe Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Apologies for asking a Flexi ticket question in here. I was gonna get one as i work a fair bit at weekends so this deal works well for me. Does anyone know, if you buy one, can you then use it to book the actual seat where you wanna sit (like I can do for booking individual early bird ticket) Or does it just get you into the stadium and then you have to sit wherever? The latter. ย I think - but donโt know for certain that it just gives you unallocated 5 match ticket. So each game you pick, you just up as you would POTD and sit where you want in any unreserved seating.ย 1 Quote

nzlatic Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Can see us dropping points today. Not because โtypical laticsโ or that our season will start collapsing! Just think that we wonโt win every game and a long away just before Christmas might be one of those where we donโt quite get over the line.ย ย Hooe Iโm wrong though, will be well chuffed with 3 points and putting more pressure on those around us Quote
