Another tough test of our play off credentials here after they held Barnet to a draw

Can we get the better of McCallum and co or will they completely put us in the Shade?

A draw of any kind and a win in the return fixture would be seen as a very good outcome

Need a win here after New Years Day, draw wouldn't be a disaster but we need to get back on the bike, what I'm dreading is a half hearted, error strewn performance we saw at Hartlepool, that would be a worry.

Team wise you'd struggle to make an argument for Gardner to start and I presume Mellon will have to swallow his pride and include Reid, Sutton and Hobson may also come back in to the fold and push for starting spots given Eastleighs main danger *McCallum probably needs special attention.

Team-wise I'd go with:

Hudson

Caprice

Ogle

Raglan

Monthe

Kitching

Clucas

Lundstram

Kay

Taylor

Norwood

I'm assuming that Charsley and Hammond are injured if they didn't even make the squad on NYD.

A little harsh on Sutton as he's done well when he came in, but I'd trust that back 3 just a little more.

Not sure on Kay or Khan, but it's time for them to step up and be counted and I'd prefer them starting ahead of Gardner.

I'd start Taylor because there's no point bringing him in for one month and not starting him, I also prefer Fondop making a bigger impact from the bench if at all possible.

Well, this team was good enough to win there 2-1 (but well deserved tbh) last February! (bizarrely, McGahey was MOM playing in midfield so look out for something random tomorrow!!)

I'm pretty sure we will have a stronger starting 11 and more available off the bench so no excuses. 100% effort, no sulking from the likes of Nors or Mellon and we will win.

Hudson, Kitching, Hogan, Hobson, Fondop, Sheron, Green, Raglan, McGahey, Garner, Hammond.

Green never found a club?

The last two times we played at their place, they've been solid and unremarkable but have a forward or two (Whitehall then Boldewijn) who can produce something out of nothing or pop up with a goal (McCallum).

We'll likely need 2 goals to win tomorrow as a result, luckily despite being short a few players I think we've got enough quality to do that.

Hopping ahead a few days, but the current forecast is for it to drop below freezing on Tuesday and then not get back above it until Saturday afternoon.

I see that you've got the giant sized font upgrade aswell 😂

Feels like a big game after the Hartlepool defeat and the Stones saga. Hope all eyes are fixed on the prize and there's a reaction to the poor performance last time out.

Assume we'll see see Fondop replace Stones, will be interesting to see if MM persists with Gardner. If another player comes in it probably necessitates a change in formation.

Got my ticket yesterday, first match I've been to in ages. Hopefully we'll see something like last season where we played some really good football.

Is it pay on the day tonight?

Have ended up in Reading overnight with work and if timings align I might be able to make a last minute decision to go.

You can tell you are a bit nervous-the gap between your lines gets wider.

In mitigation,  I have an awful tendency to not marry what I’m saying in my head to what I type.

So it makes it easier to read before I post, and ensures I’m not talking nonsense. . . 👀
