nzlatic Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Seems a very fair time to call an inspection. If it's not playable at 9am tomorrow then temps would suggest it won't thaw out by 3pm on Saturday. Quote

Club officials get on with rearranging. MM readjusts his matchday prep. Move on Quote

I wonder if some other apps just show that (ie colder in this case). And which is the one that affects how ground freezes etc? I would love for more info to be released about the state of pitches when it comes to inspections etc. Just because I'm curious how it all works really. Quote
Frankly Mr Shankly Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Can't wait to see the legions of qualified groundsmen all over the oafc hashtag proclaiming a million pound pitch should be immune from deep-rooted frost and it's a disgrace we're not playing. 2 Quote

We should leave the covers off. Give us an extra few days to make some signings! 1 Quote

We can just blame health and safety and say it's ice on surrounding areas that make it too dangerous Quote

There’s already been a fair few of these comments knocking around when they announced the pitch inspection yesterday. The mind baffles. 2 Quote
disjointed Posted January 9 Posted January 9 If the inspection is at 9.00am tomorrow I think we can safely say the game isn't going ahead, it's brass monkeys tonight. Quote

Shitpeas ramblings to himself on Twitter are really rather amusing, his desperation to stay relevant is cringeworthy, universally he's one of the most hated men in Oldham and that will be his legacy. I know I give Darren Royle a bit of flak but I know his decision making good or bad is with good intentions, Shitpeas on the other hand was (and given the opportunity again), is a self serving egoistic who I'm glad is confined to the PC in his spare room in Grotton, a sadder act you'll probably struggle to find. Anyway that's enough airtime for the cunt of all cunts. 6 Quote
