Diego_Sideburns
Never got the chance to be a mascot when i was younger for some reason, but im making up for it now You wouldnt beleive the looks i get at away games when you pull into the carpark and we say "Oldham mascot mate, where do i go?". Chaddy, I bet you're glad the official mascot was changed to an owl, so you don't have to dress up like this and go round on all fours pulling a decorative cart! http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1360/106005...9c4d6266e_b.jpg Picture courtesy of the book 'The Team From A Town Of Chimneys - Revisited' by Stewart W. chaddy the owl
Its near enough the same as what i do now, people say im like a big kid, and that is ceratinly a big kid. There is also a picture in one Latics book that has a picture from the 1920's or 1930's that has a guy dressed as a lion on all fours. I think my back would last about 20 minutes like that. My brother was mascot against Fulham the season before and we lost 1-0 to Fulham, i am pretty sure they went up that season.

Ackey
Sounds reasonable. It was certainly plenty of years ago.
